Exploring Intuition at the “Just Be” Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria
On October 26th, during the vibrant “Just Be” Festival in Sofia, Bulgaria, over 100 participants gathered for a lecture and a unique lab experience dedicated to exploring the power of intuition. Led by Iana Avramova, one of the ambassadors from the European Intuitive Trainers Network, this event offered participants an immersive journey into understanding and connecting with their intuitive senses.
The lab began with an engaging exercise that encouraged participants to pair up and discuss their personal perspectives on intuition. They reflected on questions like What does intuition mean to me?, How does it manifest?, and Where do I feel it in my body or mind? This exchange helped to illuminate how intuition varies for each individual—some described it as a sudden insight or feeling in the gut, while others felt it as a quiet inner knowing or sense of direction.

Central to the session was Rick Snyder’s model of Decisive Intuition, a framework that emphasises intuition as a key factor in effective decision-making. According to Snyder, intuition is not merely an abstract notion but a valuable tool that we can consciously develop and integrate into our lives. By guiding participants through exercises rooted in Snyder’s model, the lab encouraged them to access and refine their intuitive skills, helping them to start recognising intuitive signals as they arise. The main idea was to start with the phase “Awareness”.
Throughout the session, participants engaged in reflection and practical exercises, examining moments when they had relied on—or ignored—their intuition and the outcomes of those choices. These reflections revealed the powerful impact that intuition can have on navigating life’s uncertainties and prompted participants to think of intuition as a skill that can be practiced and honed. By exploring their inner responses, participants began to see how intuition complements rational analysis, offering a balanced approach to decision-making.
The lecture and the lab at the “Just Be” Festival provided a meaningful introduction to intuition as an accessible, guiding force in our lives. By the end of the event, participants felt inspired to bring intuition into their personal and professional worlds, seeing it not only as an inner voice but as a bridge between knowledge and instinct, between their left and right hemisphere of the brain. For many, the session offered an awakening, a new appreciation for intuition as a source of wisdom and guidance, ready to be embraced in every aspect of life.
